Warming Houses

Hiring 

The Warming House Attendant is a seasonal position that is primarily responsible for monitoring, safety, and security of warming house participants and the warming house area. Responsibilities include light janitorial tasks inside and outside of the warming house. This position will interact with the public, businesses, and other groups in a professional, courteous, safe, and respectful manner. Look for full details in the fall of 2026.

Neighborhood warming houses are open to the public mid-December to mid-February, weather permitting. When temperatures drop to -15 with wind chill, warming houses are closed. Call the weather hotline to confirm if open or closed. Outdoor lights turn on at sunset.
