Parks & Recreation
Parks and Recreation is responsible for administering and coordinating recreational programs, leisure time activities, and special events as well as park system planning, design, development, and maintenance. We're committed to planning, developing, and operating Champlin's Park and Recreation system to meet community needs within the bounds of available resources.

Spring Brochure
The Spring Recreation Brochure should hit mailboxes the week of March 6. We offer youth, teens, adult and senior programs. Rental information and special events are also listed.

Now Hiring
The Parks and Recreation Department is hiring for many different seasonal and part-time job opportunities including:
Mississippi Crossings Event Center staff/park attendants (16+, 25 hours/week. $15/hour)
Public Works/Parks/Utilities Laborers (18+, 40 hours/week. $16/hour)
Recreation Program Coordinators/Assistant Coordinators (16+, 10-25 hours/week. $12.50+/hour)
Splash Pad Attendants (16+, 10-30 hours/week. $12.50+/hour)

The 2023 event will run May 11-13th and registration is now open. List your home by April 16th. The one-time $12 fee covers advertising in local publications and a spot on our FREE community map. Register here!
Mississippi Crossings Spring Craft Fair
Apply now if you are a vendor and want to be a part of the 2023 Spring Craft Fair on Saturday, May 6th. The vendor fee of $60 includes an 8'x8' booth space and 6' table. Registration will be open until March 31st or full.

Community Rentals
Champlin Parks and Recreation offers a variety of different rental opportunities. Whether it be for a meeting, birthday party, or wedding, we have several different choices for your particular occasion.

Champlin Round-Up Program
The City of Champlin Parks and Recreation Department is reaching out to residents to request their participation in a community-based program where their utility bill is rounded up to the next dollar amount.
