Contact your hauler directly to request yard waste collection.  View hauler contact information. Your hauler will provide a yard waste collection container and bills you directly. This will not be included on your utility bill. If you do not know which hauler you have been assigned, view the service area map on the collection dates and maps page.

Yard Waste Drop-off Site - Free

Disposal at the Maple Grove Yard Waste site continues to be free for Champlin residents with proper identification. The site is open from April through November, weather permitting. The entrance is on Maple Grove Parkway, opposite 105th Avenue North.

Other Services

Christmas Tree Collection - Free

Christmas tree pick-up is on your regular weekly service day during the first full two weeks of January. Real trees only. Please remove decorations and ensure your tree is not buried in the snow. Trees that are 10 feet or more should be cut in half. If discarding an artificial, painted, or flocked tree, call your hauler to schedule collection.

Get help with your broken stuff and learn valuable repair skills.  View the Fix-It Clinics.

Fix-It Clinics offer free, guided assistance from volunteers with repair skills to disassemble, troubleshoot, and (hopefully) fix small household appliances, clothing, electronics, mobile devices, and more. They teach valuable troubleshooting and basic repair skills, build community connections, and reduce the number of repairable items that are thrown in the trash. Find an event near you.
