Did someone say rooftop patio, here in town, and overlooking the river? Yes, we did!
As part of the next phase of Mississippi Crossings, City Council approved a preliminary plat, site plan and conditional use permit for a 16,000 square foot, multi-level riverfront restaurant on East River Parkway and West River Road. The proposal includes a full-service bar and restaurant with a 14,000 square foot patio, rooftop seating, and a sizeable sand area for outdoor activities like bags, spike ball, ladder golf and volleyball. The three-level restaurant will seat approximately 655 guests inside, 418 on the outdoor patio, and feature garage doors that can open to provide an outdoor dining and live music experience on nice summer nights when concerts are hosted at the nearby outdoor performance area. An event space on the 2nd floor of the restaurant will eventually be available to reserve for private events of up to 200.
While the theme is still unknown, upon approval, MC Developer II LLC looks to break ground in 2022 and open in spring 2023. Mississippi Crossings remains focused on creating places to gather our community.
