Planning Commission
Overview
The Planning Commission is the planning agency for the City of Champlin and has powers and duties as provided in Minnesota State Statutes, Chapter 462. It is an advisory commission to the City Council made up of nine residents appointed by the Mayor who serve three-year terms. The Commission holds public hearings as required in the Champlin Zoning Ordinance, Subdivision Ordinance, and Minnesota State Statutes. The Planning Commission will improve the quality of life in Champlin by providing quality recommendations on land use planning and zoning related items.
Meetings
- Planning Commission meets on the 3rd Monday of every month at 7 pm.
- Planning Commission meetings are held in-person located in Council Chambers at City Hall.
