EARLY VOTING BEGINS JANUARY 19th

The Presidential Nomination Primary (PNP) is March 5th, but you don't have to wait to cast your ballot - early voting is available today through March 4th.

Election Day 2024 Timeline

• January 19th: Absentee voting opens for the PNP
• February 13th: Last day to pre-register to vote in the PNP
• March 4th: Last day to vote absentee for the PNP
• March 5th: PNP Election Day (polls open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.)
• August 13th - Primary Election
• November 5th - General Election 

Voting Absentee

• Vote by mail: apply for an absentee ballot
• Vote in-person at Champlin City Hall January 19th - March 4th:
  • Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Extended Hours:
    • Saturday, March 2nd, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
    • Monday, March 4th, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Steps to Voting

• Check your status or register to vote on the Secretary of State's website.
• Vote in person at your poll on Election Day from 7a.m. - 8 p.m.
• Based on the address where you maintain residence, your polling location may have changed, please check Poll Finder before you vote. 
  • Ward 1 – Precinct 1 – Mississippi Crossings Event Center, 307 E. River Pkwy.
  • Ward 2 – Precinct 1 – Champlin Ice Forum, 12165 Ensign Avenue N.
  • Ward 3 – Precinct 1 - Servant of Christ Lutheran Church, 740 East Hayden Lake Rd.
  • Ward 4 – Precincts 1 and 2 – Jackson Middle School, 6000 – 109^th Avenue N.
