Project Update – Jefferson Highway & Elm Creek Parkway Improvements
Street and utility improvements on Jefferson Highway and Elm Creek Parkway are underway. Work includes milling and replacing 2” of roadway, storm sewer upgrades, ADA pedestrian ramp improvements, and signal improvements at Elm Creek Parkway and White Oaks Trail.
Road Work Notice: Jefferson Highway & Elm Creek Parkway
Starting Tuesday, October 7, crews will begin milling operations on Jefferson Highway and Elm Creek Parkway, continuing through Wednesday, October 8. Traffic lanes will remain open during work, with flaggers and traffic control in place to ensure safety and smooth flow. Paving of the new surface is scheduled for Thursday, October 9, and Friday, October 10, weather permitting.
Traffic Signal Updates
Work continues at the Elm Creek Parkway/Jefferson Highway signal. The contractor has completed rewiring and installed a new controller. Testing and programming of the signal will take place on Wednesday, October 8, expect some delay during this work. The signal controller programming at White Oaks is planned for the week of October 13.
