Exciting News: Shores Park Playground Replacement – Your Input Needed
The playground at Shores Park is scheduled for a full replacement in 2026, and we would like your input on the design. The new playground must fit within the current footprint and stay within the project budget of $125,000.
Project Goals & Process- Install safe play equipment for ages 2–5 and 5–12
- Ensure all equipment meets accessibility requirements
- Replace the current sand surface with ADA-compliant, sustainable engineered wood fiber
- Develop multiple design concepts with varying features for community review
- Present a final design recommendation to the Champlin City Council
