Understanding MN's New Cannabis LawWhile new state law allows Minnesotans aged 21 and older to legally possess and use certain amounts of cannabis and cannabis products, use in Champlin is restricted to private property. City Council held a special meeting last month to discuss measures to take in areas where the City has authority and adopted a new ordinance banning the use of cannabis in the parks, public spaces, and on City property.
