West Mississippi Watershed & Elm Creek Watershed

Most of eastern Champlin is located in the West Mississippi watershed, which is managed by the West Mississippi Watershed Commission. Since most of the cities in the West Mississippi watershed are also in the Shingle Creek watershed, the two Commissions have identical rules and management strategies, and operate many programs jointly.
