Be Part of the Champlin ERC/Great Shingle Creek Watershed Earth Day Clean-up Event on Thursday, April 27th  at 5 p.m. at Andrews Park by registering yourself or your group with the City Clerk at

Litter lining area stream-banks has a negative impact on our water quality but by simply picking up this litter we can make a direct and positive impact on our water quality. If you would like to help out with the 2017 Clean-up Project contact the City today to register!

The event will kick-off at Andrews Park and volunteers will be dispersed from there. We plan to clean-up Mississippi Point Park, Chandler Park, Veterans Memorial Park, Galloway Park, and other areas.

We will provide trash bags and collection tongs. We ask that you bring your own gloves. It’s advised that you wear long pants and closed toe shoes.

If the weather prevents us from holding the event on April 27th we have planned an alternate date of May 4th at 5 p.m. at Andrews Park.
