Mission
The Mission of the Champlin Police Department is to maintain order, preserve and protect the life, peace and property of the citizens of Champlin, and to enforce Local, State and Federal law within the framework of the United States Constitution.
The Champlin Police Department and its individual members will, without favor or prejudice, work cooperatively with the public to provide a safe community and strive to enhance the quality of life for all citizens.
Vision
Our goal is to look into the future, and to see the organization not as it is....but as it can become. To advance as a police department to enhance our professionalism and services. We do this by continually challenging ourselves by setting higher clearly defined goals, and objectives on how we are to achieve these goals.This simply means that it may take courage to embrace the possibilities of your own potential, and to put forth the time and effort as individuals and as a department to be the best we can.
