Parking regulations in the City of Champlin

According to Champlin City Ordinance, no motor vehicles shall be parked within the city in any of the following places:

  • On a sidewalk
  • So as to block a public or private driveway
  • Within an intersection
  • Within 10 feet of a fire hydrant
  • So as to block a crosswalk
  • At any place where “No parking” signs have been placed by cityofficers or pursuant to city rules and regulations.
  • Upon the shoulders of any trunk highway within the City of Champlin in the front yard or side yard except on a paved or gravel driveway not to exceed 40% of the total front yard.
  • Upon any public street or right-of-way within the City between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.
  • Recreational vehicles cannot be parked within 5 feet of the rear property line.
  • No parking of vehicles, campers, etc. on front yards between front face of house to street unless on paved or gravel surface.
