About the ERC

The mission of the Environmental Resources Commission (ERC) is to research and report results to the community and City Council on the effective conservation and the efficient use of natural resources and provide education and information related to solid waste disposal.

Grants

There are two different grant programs sponsored by the ERC. The first is a grant to local property owners and organizations to cover the cost of native planting projects. The second is granted to area schools and clubs for environmental projects of a varied nature.

The Green Leaf

The ERC produces a television program on environmental topics of interest. The show airs on QCTV Channel 16.
